The short version
I'm Hadi. I'm a software engineer. I built Solovi because every UK sole trader I know, barbers, nail technicians, personal trainers, dog groomers, was renting their business from Booksy, Fresha, or Vagaro. Every booking, the platform took a cut. Every month, the bill kept growing.
So I built the opposite. A flat monthly fee. 0% commission, ever. Every penny your customer pays belongs to you.
What Solovi actually is
A done-for-you bundle: a professional website, an online booking system, Stripe-powered payments (with Apple Pay + Google Pay), gift cards, loyalty cards, and local SEO, all running under your own domain. We set it up for you, we maintain it, you focus on your craft.
Three tiers: Solo (£19/mo after a 30-day free trial), Local (£39/mo), Bespoke (£79/mo). Customers who sign up before 31 December 2026 lock Local at £29 and Bespoke at £49 for life, that’s the 2026 rate. From 1 January 2027, prices return to standard. No setup fee. 30-day money back.
Honest status
The platform is built and running. Stripe Connect is live, Apple Pay and Google Pay work, and the booking flow, loyalty stamps and gift cards have all shipped and been tested in production. You can see real client work on the work page, and Solovi Demo Salon is a demo you are welcome to book on, so you can watch the whole thing end to end without bothering a real business.
Customers are on the platform and being onboarded now. If you run a UK service business and you want your own site rather than a profile on someone else's, the 2026 rate is open until 31 December.
Why this exists
- Marketplaces charge for discovery. Booksy Biz is around £40 a month plus about £5 for each extra team member, and with Boost switched on a client who finds you there costs 30% of their first visit. Fresha adds a 20% fee on new clients booked through its marketplace. That money buys something real: people who had never heard of you.
- What it does not buy is an address of your own. The domain is theirs, the pages Google learns to trust are theirs, and the day you leave there is nothing to redirect.
- And none of them give you a real website. You get a profile page on their domain, ranked behind every other Booksy salon in your area.
So Solovi sells the other half: a site on your own domain, with booking and card payments built in, a flat monthly fee, and 0% commission on what your clients pay. If you need strangers to discover you, a marketplace does that and we do not. If the people who want you already know your name and simply cannot find you online, that is the gap we fill.
Where we are based
United Kingdom. Email [email protected]. Open to traders in every UK city. Built for solo operators and single-location businesses. Per-staff scheduling is shipped: each team member gets their own calendar, working hours, services and prices, and your tier sets how many calendars you get (Solo one, Local three, Bespoke unlimited). Multi-location chains are still on the roadmap.
