For nail salons

Built for nail techs.

1

Per-service time slots

BIAB at 60min, Shellac at 45min, nail art at 75min. The calendar only shows times that actually fit, no more "can you squeeze me in?".

2

Stamp-card loyalty

6 visits = 1 free Shellac. Customer scans the QR card on their phone, you tap to add a stamp.

3

Gift cards for every season

Sell £25/£50/£100 gift cards on autopilot. Mothers Day, Christmas, birthdays. Branded with your salon, redeemable at booking.

The bit nobody enjoys

Most nail salons still book through their DMs

It usually starts with Instagram. Someone comments on a set you posted, you move it to DMs, you go back and forth about Thursday or Friday, you check the diary, you type out your prices again. Multiply that by fifteen enquiries a week and it is most of an evening gone.

Then there are the ones that never quite land. The message you meant to reply to during a fill, the person who asked what you charge for BIAB and never came back, the double-booking because two people asked for 2pm and you were mid-set for both replies. None of it is a failure of organisation. It is what happens when your booking system is a chat app that was not designed to be one.

A booking page fixes the mechanical part. Someone picks the service, sees only the times that actually fit it, pays a deposit and gets a confirmation, and you find out by notification instead of by scrolling. Your evening comes back.

The expensive one

A no-show costs a nail tech more than most trades

A full set with art is not a fifteen-minute slot you can backfill. It is an hour and a half, usually at the best part of the day, and when it goes empty at short notice it stays empty. Two of those in a week is a meaningful chunk of your income, and it is income you cannot make up on Saturday because Saturday is already full.

Deposits are the standard answer and they work, but only if taking one is easier than not taking one. Asking a new client to send a bank transfer before you have met them is awkward, and chasing it is worse. So most people skip it, and carry the risk instead.

On your Solovi site the deposit is just part of booking. You set the amount per service, a percentage or a fixed sum, and the customer pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay while they are choosing their slot. Nobody has to ask anybody for money.

You also set your own cancellation window. Inside it, a late cancellation or a no-show can be charged automatically against the card already on file, at whatever percentage you decided. Solovi takes 0% of that. It is your money, and it lands in your Stripe account with everything else.

Design

For nails, the portfolio is the sales pitch

Nobody books a nail appointment from a paragraph. They book because they saw a set they want. So a nail salon site is not really a brochure with some pictures on it, it is a gallery with a booking button attached, and the design has to treat your work as the main event rather than decoration around the text.

That is how we build them. Full-width photography, a layout that lets a set breathe instead of cropping it into a thumbnail, and your service menu written so someone can tell the difference between a BIAB overlay and a full set without asking you. Prices on the page, because the alternative is answering the same DM forever.

The colours, the type and the feel come from your brand, not from a template everyone else is also using. On the Bespoke tier it is designed from scratch for your salon.

Getting found

When someone searches "nail salon near me"

Local search is where most new nail clients come from, and it rewards fairly unglamorous things: a Google Business Profile that is filled in properly, a real website on your own domain, matching details across the two, and pages that load quickly on a phone.

Being a profile inside someone else's app does not build any of that for you. The app ranks, not you. Having your own site means the searches that mention your town, your street or your salon name have somewhere of yours to land.

On the Local tier we set your Google Business Profile up alongside the site, keep the details consistent, and send a monthly report so you can see whether it is doing anything. Paying customers are also featured at the top of the matching page in our own UK directory at solovi.co.uk/find, above businesses that are not customers.

None of this is instant. Local SEO takes months rather than days, and anyone promising otherwise is selling something.

If you sign up

You do about twenty minutes of work

You send us the details. Salon name, services and prices, how long each one takes, your hours, and your photos. One form, and you can send the photos from your phone.

We build it. The site, the booking rules, the deposits, the loyalty card, and Stripe connected to your bank account. You do not configure anything.

You check it and we go live. Within seven days of getting your details, or your money back. After that, content changes are part of the plan rather than something you pay extra for or do yourself.

Questions nail techs ask

Can I set different deposits for different services?

Yes. Each service has its own deposit, either a percentage or a fixed amount, so a full set with art can hold more than a quick file and polish. You can also leave the deposit off entirely for services where you do not want one.

What about infills and soak-offs that take different times?

Every service carries its own duration, so the calendar only offers slots that genuinely fit. Add-ons work the same way: nail art at plus fifteen minutes extends the appointment and the price before the customer picks a time, so the diary stays honest.

I work from home. Do I have to publish my address?

No. Plenty of nail techs work from a home studio and would rather share the address only once a booking is confirmed. The site can show your area rather than your street, and send the full address in the confirmation email.

Can I keep taking bookings through Instagram as well?

Of course, and most people do at first. Put the link in your bio, reply to DMs with it, and let the ones who prefer to book themselves do that. Nothing stops you carrying on exactly as you are for the people who like messaging.

Do I need another person on the plan if I have a second tech?

The Local tier covers up to three people, each with their own calendar, their own hours and their own service prices where they differ. Solo is for one person. There is no per-person charge inside your tier.

What happens to my site if I stop paying?

The site comes down, because the hosting and the booking system are the service. The domain is yours and stays yours, and your customer list is yours to export at any point. There is no lock-in beyond the month you are in.
